Central Washington Wild Feline Center

This page will show one of my heros every month.  The person selected will be someone that has touched my heart is some way, or someone that is doing the "real deal" with animals, or someone that has mentored me.  I feel we must start honoring eachother, instead of picking eachother apart.  We must find a way to stand together or be picked off one by one.

International hero:    Steve Irwin  1962 - 2006

We all know him as the zany Crocodile Hunter from Austrailia.  Steve has touched many hearts across the world.  Even in his death, he lives on with many of us.

Steve has led the animal world in many ways.  He showed true compassion and concern for the animals of our world.  He taught us weekly about all kinds of wild animals, and their plight to live in their natural environments.

Steve was a true gentleman and a leader.  He is someone that should be remembered as a real hero.  He will be missed by millions.
